This lovely 1963 Sunbeam Alpine Series 3 Roadster is in excellent condition. The paintwork, trim, chrome and engine compartment are very good, and it does not suffer from rust. Only 5863 Series 3's were produced, making this example rare and very collectible. The Series 3 was the most refined of the tail-fin Alpines. It has been fitted with a later 1725cc 5-bearing engine with twin Zenith WIA3 carburettors and an all-synchromesh 4 speed gearbox. (similar to the Series 5) Giving it much improved performance of around 92 bhp. The owner has 27 years of history files which will accompany the car. The engine has had major work including a crank, new clutch, new brakes, and rebuilt suspension. It runs and drives beautifully. Extras: Soft-top roof in excellent condition, Clip-on seat & cockpit cover, Wood-rim steering wheel, Period 14" Minilite-style mag wheels, Air horns, Remote alarm, Extensive history File.
